Description
The data is geographic point-based and would be called with a string which included:
lat/long, radius, tableNames, columnHeaders, clientkey , etc…
We would like this to mirror, as much as possible, the way the Google API system works as our clients are familiar with the structures of the get strings.
Once the infrastructure is complete, I would like to be able to add more data tables/update data/add columns and criteria myself, going forward.
I’d like to be in a position to incorporate e-commerce so that the API could result in card payments and invoice generation – our company website is based on wix where there appears to be a facility for this.
The data is currently not accessible online in any form, it is held in an Access database. The data could be migrated obviously to systems such as MySQL – this would be preferred, but if other platforms are more suitable please advise.
We have an Azure account which could be used to create the system and host the data; again please advise of alternatives if better suited. We’d set up a VM on Azure to the specs you provided.
If appropriate, please break the task into various sections to allow us to discuss deliverables/costs.

Hi, a few questions please:
1) Would your API require authentication from the user to us?
2) You say: "I would like to be able to add more data tables/update data/add columns and criteria myself" how would you want to do this? through an interface? or through a mysql client which the data then becomes available through the API?
3) you mention e-commerce, so would it be subscription payments, in which case number 1) would be needed or would it be pay per API request, which again would prob need a gateway billing id so the user would need to be able to store card details.
4) Would you also need API documentation?
5) Do you have a budget range in mind?
Thanks, Chris
