Electronic Engineer Needed for Panel Wiring & PLC Programming

MySuperfoods Ltd are looking for a contract electrical/electronic engineer based in the UK, with panel wiring experience and optionally PLC/HMI programming experience. You would be working with a mechatronic engineer building/rebuilding a number of automated and semi automated packaging solutions.

PROJECT SPECS

- Build of a new control panel / enclosure.

- Minimal selection of components / design, as most parts are known or in place. Specifically, we need to find a suitable amplifier / transmitter for a load cell

- This control panel will have a PLC and HMI, which we would ideally need to have it programmed by you, although could outsource the programming if needed. We know exactly how the program must work, it's relatively simple

- The PLC must have a minimum of just 3 DI (perhaps just 2 would be ok), 1 AI and 4 DO, one of which must be able to deliver +10 khz. There's a similar machine with a control panel that could be modified, with a Delta PLC and Weintek HMI screen, but you may want to use other brands. We've also looked into Kinco PLC+HMI 2 in 1, but you may prefer a higher end solution such as Siemens?

- The actual PLC program is relatively simple, one thing it will need to do is drive the stepper driver by sending step pulses to the driver and these must include a ramping up and down of the frequency to smoothly accelerate the stepper. The HMI will have a few pages in the screen but relatively simple

- Potentially some install / commissioning, site is in Canterbury, Kent.
