Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
We designed our own accountancy software from scratch for in house use. It was previously live in testing and we are reserecting the project. We therefore want to deploy it to our widows.net test environment for review, which will be phase 2. We have the complete deployment guide and when we last deployed it the process took 3.5hrs. Phase 1 is what this job is for which is to deploy our files and databases to our windows hosting.

Phase 1 is to Deploy files and databases to our windows hosted environment. Initially we have this is on a host gator windows server account. I have detailed the steps involved below, but subject to initial chat I will supply the complete deployment guide for your review.
This has been done previously in 3.5hrs, but that was by someone who was familiar with the job. The domain is not currently live so you may want to use the ip with a virtual host. But this may not be needed and I can make the domain live if needed. Please see the outlined steps below:
Step 1 - Deployment Environment
1) Mcrosoft XP or Above or Severs
2) .Net 4.0 Framwework
3) SQL Serever Report Viewer tool
4) SQlServer 2005 or above
Step 2 - EasyPeasy App Configurations
1) DataBase Connection String (Web.Config)
2) Folder or File permissions
3) Reports Settings
3) SMTP Server Settings
4)IIS Settings (6.0/7.0)
Step 3 - Admin Portal Configurations
1) DataBase Connection String (Web.Config)
3) SMTP Server Settings
4)IIS Settings (6.0/7.0)
5)Intial Login Credentials
Step 4 - DataBase Configuration
7) Configuring DataBase
Step 5 - CodeBase & Environment
1) Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
2) SQL Server 2005 Express or above
We designed, originated and own all rights to the code we are looking to deploy. It is in house accounting software which we developed from scratch and after the deployment we would like to go onto phase two which will be to review the code as it is a few years old and look at ways we can utilise it now to debug and bring up to date. This will be posted as a seperate job,
This is for chartered accountancy firm which have been trading for over 20 years.
