General information for the business: we are language school
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of every module: we have a language school application that is complete and does everything we need. it is coded in vb.net and runs smoothly. but the time we were designing it we didn't think of a day when we need to add more branches to our school. Now that we have another branch and we need to run this application from different places we are in a real trouble. on the one hand some forms increment the max number of records and generate new numbers. this will cause conflict in synchronizing the databases in different servers, on the other hand we need to keep the speed of the performance at its best and intact. this can happen through ADSL connection but its speed is limited.
to put in a nutshell I want to have the followings done in a few days.
1- optimize the code to avoid conflicts in the database over synchronization.
2- setup synchronization scenario using merge replication or any other method that meets our condition.
PS.
we need to have a web applicaiton designed in the future for the students and teachers to use and update the database, so the changes should consider any modification in advance.
Preferably we are looking for someone who can take care of the three, but for now the items 1-2 are necessary.
