Custom Who's Online Hit Counter

Description of requirements/features: I am intending to move away from Histats who have been providing me with a "whos online" style hits counter for some years, showing a live count (last 15 minutes I believe) and today's total. See bottom left of this page... http://www.1066online.com/

Although it has served me well, the counter uses Flash so is not totally compatible with mobile browsers.

So what I am looking for is to have my own version of this. The back-end historic statistics are not required as I have GA running on the sites which is quite sufficient.

Just a small box that displays "Hits today: xxxx" and "Online now: xxxx", where the hits today count is reset at midnight.

Now for the tricky bit, maybe, depending on your skills...
I also require the counter to create an RSS feed of the pages currently being viewed (last 15 minutes) that I can display in a page similar to the feed AddThis gives me for recently shared pages.
If you can create the RSS feed I can do the page to display it, no problem. Ideally showing meta titles with a link rather than the url's.

The scripting for the counter can be in any language (although not Flash obviously) and must work cross-domain as the website is split across several domains which are on separate servers. Use of either a flat file or database is acceptable to store the data, up to you.
