Custom SQL Query

Custom SQL script for the Linnworks inventory management platform - will display number of days that items were out of stock.

Linnworks is an inventory management platform. Various reports can be generated within the database, to display information relating to sales and inventory. The platform has the functionality to create a custom SQL script.

We want a simple script to tell use how many days that each separate SKU was out of stock for for the selected number of days.

Specifications:

There will be @StartDate and @EndDate variables at the top on the SQL query where the user will enter dates that will be used when calculating number of days out of stock.

Report will display the following data:

SKU – Linnworks item SKU;
Current Available level – Current available stock level in Default location;
On Order – Quantity in Purchase Orders to be delivered to Default location;
Out Of Stock Days – Number of days that the item was out of stock in the selected period of time in Default location. Item will be considered as in stock, if its stock level was greater than 1 during the day.

We will then manually paste the SQL script into the 'Query Data' section in Linnworks every time when the report needs to be produced.
