Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are working with a software application which has a documented protocol (HOVTP, based on OVTP) for outputting live data from a system. We need to build a custom adaptor which receives this data in real-time, parses it, and stores it in a series of nine (9) CSV files with a specified layout.
Live data comes from a sport scoring system in real time.
Outputs consist of a series of 9 CSV files updated at varying intervals based on certain events and information coming from the HOVTP live data feed.
We require a solution which is deployable on a Windows or Ubuntu server running in the cloud which can be assigned a Public IP address to receive the data at, and the CSV files should be output to a location accessible by an HTTP server on the public internet. We can take care of setting up the infrastructure, but this is the anticipated deployment environment.
