Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
UPDATE: The graph will need to be interactive. A static picture is not a desired solution. The user should be able to open a context menu upon clicking certain elements of the chart.
I have also taken out the budget, because I want providers to focus on delivering a final product tailored to the brief and quote accordingly, instead of trying to make the scope of the project fit the budget.
I am looking for a web-programmer(s) to work on an element of our website. This new element will be a way to graphically represent a series of cash flows. Basically a sophisticated graphing tool, which should be extremely intuitive to use.
This will require a programmer who is particularly attuned to the current design features in interactive websites. A good understanding of how a user navigates a complex topic on the web, such as finance, will be beneficial. The programmer should be versatile enough to program in different programming languages to achieve the best outcome. We have a specific vision in mind on what we want the final product to look like and the capabilities of the product, but are open for suggestions and a partnership work on how to get there. We are looking for someone with sensible input around the project and look forward to working together with him/her as a team.
We also haven't made a decision on which programming language to use, with the only exception that the data will be fed via SQL.
This part of the job does not require any particular knowledge of how to manipulate data behind the scenes, but mostly how to display data.
If you are interested or have further questions, please let us know and we will do our best to give more details.
We will Skype-interview you before hiring you. You will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement before the interview. We require that you or your company be a citizen of or incorporated in the EU, UK, US, Canada for legal purposes. If you are uncomfortable with this, please do not apply to take this job.
Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you,
Philip
