Correct errors in python code

This job is being re-advertised, IT IS GAMBLING RELATED, we have Python code that , we are certain , has some errors . It is scanning sites as we require , it is finding data as we require , but it is not finding the quantity of this data we know exists , this is an indisputable fact , we know from wide experience in this field .
it happened previously and a small error was found , correcting it did produce the quantity we want but after a short , it reverted to an error state . it is possible the coder did this on purpose , he has since disappeared .
