Convert old Flash .FLA Actionscript to Adobe Animate

I have an old Flash project that I want converted so it will work in Adobe Animate.

I have the old .FLA file that was encoded using Actionscript V 1 - very simple scripts were used at the time when Flash was around - I think all the scripts are simply - On Rollover - Play......

When I open the FLA file in Animate it all looks fine graphically - and the animated keyframes are all intact - However it has compile errors when I Publish it and Adobe Animate removes all the older Actionscript V1 and does not convert it to V3... this is what I need someone's help with.
