Description
Description of requirements/functionality: We would like to use Raspberry Pi 3 with POE hat and a VGA port for RDP using this project: https://thinstation.github.io/thinstation/
Please note we think this requires recompiling for ARM architecture not x86.
OS requirements: Linux

Here we need to port thinstation from x86/64 arch to ARM arch. Just a compilation will not do as the software now has default support for x86/64 arch only.

Hi,
Please expand on what you mean by "We would like to use Raspberry Pi 3 with POE hat and a VGA port for RDP ". The Pi has HDMI, but you would need an HDMI to VGA converter to display on a VGA monitor. When you say POE hat I am assuming that you are not referring to Power over Ethernet? Unless, that is you are planning on powering the Pi via PoE??
I am download in the source at the moment to see if it will compile on my Pi.
CosmaIouri P.15 Sep 2017We are going to use Power over Ethernet hat for Raspberry Pi:

and VGA666 for a VGA port:

We are effectively trying to get rasperry pi to use boot over network, using POE for power and produce RDP connection to a windows RDS server with two screens.Cosma P.17 Sep 2017I suspect the other commenter is correct. Is there a reason why you wish to use a Pi? Would not a small footprint PC do the job? Am sure we can find one that works with PoE.
