Description of requirements/functionality: We would like to use Raspberry Pi 3 with POE hat and a VGA port for RDP using this project: https://thinstation.github.io/thinstation/

Please note we think this requires recompiling for ARM architecture not x86.

    Here we need to port thinstation from x86/64 arch to ARM arch. Just a compilation will not do as the software now has default support for x86/64 arch only.

    Hi,

    Please expand on what you mean by "We would like to use Raspberry Pi 3 with POE hat and a VGA port for RDP ". The Pi has HDMI, but you would need an HDMI to VGA converter to display on a VGA monitor. When you say POE hat I am assuming that you are not referring to Power over Ethernet? Unless, that is you are planning on powering the Pi via PoE??

    I am download in the source at the moment to see if it will compile on my Pi.

    We are going to use Power over Ethernet hat for Raspberry Pi:

    and VGA666 for a VGA port:

    We are effectively trying to get rasperry pi to use boot over network, using POE for power and produce RDP connection to a windows RDS server with two screens.

    I suspect the other commenter is correct. Is there a reason why you wish to use a Pi? Would not a small footprint PC do the job? Am sure we can find one that works with PoE.
