Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: Buddypress
Description of every page/module: I have set up the skeleton of a buddypress site with private groups. I need a little tweak to move on with my work:
When user apply for membership he must enter a value in an input field (no validation). This value must be saved on the user profile and the administrator must see it when he handles the membership request.
I assume it's a very simple job if you know just a little more php than me.
Description of requirements/features: Step1: A user request membership of a group
From frontpage http://poker.mindbar.dk/ - login with username: 'testuser', password: 'testuser'
Go to http://poker.mindbar.dk/groups/unibet/request-membership/ - on this page there is already a field to enter a text, but data is not saved on profile. That's the task.
Note that there will be a unique field for each buddypress-group. I'll make sure that the group slug and the user field are the same. So userfield = group-slug.
When the administrator handles the member request he must see the value of the field on the user profile.
The code for this is currently in the file /themes/magazine-pro/functions.php
