General information for the website: Display orgDiagram from MySQL database
Description of requirements/features: http://www.basicprimitives.com/index.php
Need customisation of orgDiagram to allow the retrieval and display of employees from MySQL and displayed in PHP - employee id, employee name, manager name, email, department, job title, site, telephone, image. I will provide the data source and you only need to extract the data from MySQL. No other MySQL customisation is required.
There is no add/delete/edit/selected capabilities required in orgDiagram - we just need display ability.
Those with no managers should be shown at the top on one line (i.e. they are equal and there could be one or there could be many - Multiple root items). From there down, create the organisational structure with all those reporting to the above shown and so on.
From a display perspective, the priority is to fit to width where possible and default to show dots when there is too much on the screen (minimal nodes dot). Like in demo (http://www.basicprimitives.com/index.php?option=com_local&view=local&Itemid=42&lang=en), there should be the option to expand all rather than show dots (minimal nodes normal) where needed.
Additional functionality required which I believe are outside of orgDiagram natively is the ability to filter by department, manager, site or combination of all and, most importantly, the ability to export to JPG/PNG and PDF (all should be very high quality, large resolution required). The export should be of the current view (i.e. all dot display, all normal or hybrid) including all CSS styling added to the org chart and should respect the current filters etc but excluding anything which is not part of the actual org chart itself (i.e. the theme or template in which the org chart is placed)
Prior experience of orgDiagram will be a huge advantage but anyone with excellent JS and jQUery skills should be able to do this as their site does have a lot of good examples and demo's to work from covering all the above orgDiagram scenarios.
For example:
Multiple root items : http://www.basicprimitives.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=49&Itemid=82&lang=en
PHP/MySQL demo: http://www.basicprimitives.com/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&id=2&Itemid=21&lang=en
