Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi, I have an industrial arduino as found here:
https://www.industrialshields.com/shop/m-duino-plc-arduino-21-ios-analogdigital-plus/
I have 6 inputs, 5 outputs, a gsm800l board and the on board Ethernet stack.
4 of the inputs start counters and turn on 4 outputs, the counter information is sent to Google cloud via the Ethernet port, if Internet is unavailable it will use the sim800l connection - still to be defined.
input 5 and 6 is a fault condition from the external equipment, on signal high output 3 will go low and it will send an alert via sms.
output 5 will drive a dmx signal:
http://playground.arduino.cc/Learning/DMX
I have a dmx driving some led warning lights etc, the dmx variables will be based on the condition of the 6 input conditions, input 2,3 & 5 high then set leds red, input 1& 3 high set leds green etc.
most of this is very straight forward, however the google cloud integration and the gsm control may require a few more skills.
22/11 More information.....
See attached image:
the step "is permitted" this allows me to disable the output via sms
the "output" step:
Google cloud, i need to track the timer information via sheets, the arduino will have access to the net via the ethernet interface, if the internet is unavailable then it needs to send the data via a sms to a defined phone number then entered manually - please suggest if there is a better way to do this?
Internal web, im not sure if this industrial shield has enough memory for a internal website that display the counter information, disables the output etc, your thoughts?
the DMX output will be an RGB code, basically if the output is on the led is green, if output 2 and 3 are on then red etc.
As already stated there will be 4 of these timer based inputs/outputs with timers etc, and then 5&6 for the fault condition.
I happy for you to define the pins as per the info in the industrial shield link
I am happy to provide more information just ask.
I do several of this style of project each year and am looking for a long term relationship.
Is this a project you have the skills to do?
