Arduino mega code fix

Hi,

I have an arduino mega code that needs a fix. It worked with small 'words' to check but stalls on larger words.

This is the deal:

I have 2 seperate hand made keyboards with each half of the alphabet. Each side has 4 figures:

left square
left circle
left triangle
left ruitje

The same 4 for right.

If one of the 8 figures is pushed one of 5 possible words has to be correctly spelled to reveal a number.
If the figure is pushed again, the string resets. If the word is spelled right, the number has to stay on until a hard reset bij pushing the R for 10 seconds.

It worked with smaller words, but not with the larger ones that are in the code now.
