General information for the business: We are an electronic engineering design consultancy.
Description of requirements/functionality: We have designed a touchscreen Android device based around a System-on-Module from Variscite http://www.variscite.com/products/system-on-module-som/cortex-a8/var-som-am33-cpu-ti-am335x-am3354-am3352
The module comes with Android 4.2 (on a bootable SD card) We need to recompile the Android kernel to provide support for the FT5206 touchscreen controller we are using. It's currently configured to use a different touchscreen driver.
Luckily, the kernel already has this driver integrated, we just need to activate it by changing the defconfig file and recompiling the kernel. We can supply you with the physical hardware.
