Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a banner on a website built with google amp that uses amp-user-notification - https://amp.dev/documentation/components/amp-user-notification/ - to hide the banner. Currently the banner is setup so that when the user clicks close the cookie is stored locally. I need to change this to a server side cookie with a timer eg. 12 hrs until the banner appears again.

    Do you mean you want to store cookies for 12 hrs? And after 12 hrs the banner should be displayed again? Cookie can’t be stored on server side. Can you please provide us wit the url of your site?

    No url available - this is for a Wordpress theme that serves up AMP valid pages. Banner works fine currently using <amp-user-notification> but once dismissed the banner will not re-appear until user clears browser cookies. I am trying to find a way to cookie user with a timestamp so the banner re-appears every 12 hours.
