We have a web based application hosted with Godaddy. The developer supporting this has left suddenly leaving the bare minimum documentation

    Is your GoDaddy hosting service on a dedicated or a shared server ? I ask because it affects the level of control one has over configuration.

    Yes, I realise that. GoDaddy offer dedicated or shared servers: I suspect it's the latter.
