Add radio select buttons on cart and checkout page to shipping

Hi,

I have built a basic website using Wordpress and a purchased theme (support expired)
When I set up the shipping options they appear as expected on both the cart and the checkout pages but there is no 'radio' or 'checkbox' style buttons to allow customer to select the desired shipping option. The customer could easily miss this selection

I just want the selectable buttons next to the shipping options wherever they appear and options aligned to suit the flow of text

The site although using a responsive theme seems a little out of sorts on mobile devices and if that could be assessed would be great but the buttons for the shipping options are the priority.

Have site in maintenance mode at moment but attached screen shots should explain what I am after
