Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the app: Game
Description of requirements/features: Hello,
The task is to make an Unity3D plugin that will allow us to stream game footage to Twitch (www.twitch.com, accepts RTMP) from Unity3D (Android + IOS). We did some initial research ourselves, and were able to find various streaming libraries for IOS and Android, but none directly usable in Unity. Expectation for completing this task is to pick one of those native libraries, and then make it work with Unity through a plugin.
The broadcasted video would be a composition of the phone camera and what is rendered by Unity3D. Example: https://i.imgur.com/VopVrVX.png. The broadcasted audio would be a mix between audio recorded by the phone microphone, and audio produced by Unity3D.
Possibly relevant: Twitch accepts RTMP. Unity has documentation on how to access the Graphics Device. https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/NativePluginInterface.html.
Feel free to ask for clarifications.
