I have a few questions:
Should the swipe interface behave exactly like dating apps (left to discard, right to save) or include multiple actions such as shortlist, deal match, or share?
Will the property inventory come from an existing database or external APIs, or should the system rely mainly on bulk CSV imports during the beta phase?
For the reporting feature, should the A4 brochure and 9:16 summary be automatically generated from property data with images and key metrics? -

From what you shared, you want to build a beta version of a “dating app-style” real estate platform for internal use, where brokers and investors can easily browse, filter, and swipe through a large property inventory. The system will help organize properties, buyers, renters, organisations, and leads, while allowing users to save, share, and manage opportunities efficiently before launching the public MVP.
The platform will also include databases for properties and people, bulk import/export tools, deal and lead management, notes and activities tracking, and reporting features such as shareable summaries, brochures, and statements.

Hi, thanks for outlining the beta version. To make sure I understand the scope correctly, could you clarify whether you want this built as a mobile app (iOS/Android) or a responsive web app first, how large the initial property inventory database will be, and how the “dating-style” interaction should work (e.g., swipe right to save, swipe left to discard, swipe up to share)? Also, should the system include an admin dashboard for managing users, imports/exports, organisations, and reporting outputs like the JPEG summaries and PDF brochures?

Matt,
What will the inventory consist of? Will it be purely text based or will there be images? Are they being added by the agents or pulled from an external location through API, csv or other feed?
