Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the app: The app is built in Cordova Phonegap and views websites in an iFrame
Kind of development: Customization of existing app
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: See Below Extra Notes
Specific technologies required: Phonegap
Extra notes: The development environment is Intel XDK. The App uses Cordova and is built using PhoneGap. Targets are iOS and Android.
The App is supposed to launch one of a selection of websites in an iframe within the App. (Some parameters are passed to the target website). However, currently we do not see the launched website.
There is an event handler which triggers when loading completes, but that is never triggered.
There are two sets of permissions that control access to external resources:
1. the Content-Security-Policy meta tags in the project index.html file
2. and Intent and Navigation settings which are configured in the XDK Project Settings.
We need to determine the correct settings so that the app works correctly on a range of iOS and Android devices.
