Description of every module: We require a native Android 4.0 and iOS 6.0 Tablet app created to show the user their book library bought from an author on oAuthor.com. The books are hosted on web servers secured using SSL and can be access by providing a File Id and download code which is provided once the user logs on. The book are in HTML5 format.
Description of requirements/functionality: - Allow the user to logon with user id and password which have to be validated against the oAuthor web server which will result in a jSON string to indicate if the access was granted
- The user access details have to be saved in the app
- The user has to be able to change the logon details in the app
- Once the user logs on or accesses the eReader their book library will be downloaded from the web server
- The details of the books and links of the pictures will be given via jSON HTTP result.
- Once the user clicks on a book, the book is opened. If the book is new it needs to be downloaded from the oAuthor web server in HTML format.
- The user can go back to their library by clicking the library button on the top left corner
- The user can choose the font size in the top right corner
- The picture and the title of the book has to be shown in the center of the screen
- The app has to show the pages and the page position
- The user can change the pages by clicking on the left arrow or right arrow or by swiping into a specific direction
- The app has to save the page position the book was closed at and open at this position if the book is re-opened.
Specific technologies required: iOS 6 and Android 4
Extra notes: The project will be completed once:
- The attached requirements are fulfilled
- The app has been tested by us
