Good afternoon
We are looking for somebody to design a specialist interval timer for both Apple and Android app stores.
Normally interval timers work as follows
(1) user sets the number of “repetitions” (for example 10)
(2) user sets “active” time (for example 30 seconds)
(3) user sets “rest” time (for example 20 seconds)
(4) user then activates the timer
(5) The timer then cycles through steps (2) and (3) for the number of times set in step (1), playing an alarm sound/ vibrate between each step.
We want to develop an interval timer where the user can adjust the interval length for every step. So ours would work as follows:
(1) user sets the number of “repetitions” (for example 10)
(2) user sets “active” time (for example 30 seconds)
(3) user then sets the amount of time to increase each “active” interval by each step (for example 10 seconds)
(4) user sets “rest” time (for example 20 seconds)
(5) user then sets the amount of time to increase each “rest” interval by each step (for example 5 seconds)
(6) user then activates the timer
(7) The timer then cycles through steps (2) and (3) for the number of times set in step (1), playing an alarm sound/ vibrate between each step.
So the timer instead of having fixed interval times, has increasing interval times each step.
We would like the app to also have these features also:
- Background changes to Green for “active” steps and red for “rest” steps
- Vibration between steps
- Countdown timer visible
- Circular animation to visualise time left in step linked to countdown timers
We are looking to develop a long term relationship with a developer as we are planning to increase functionality regularly.
