Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am established author with many books out in a range of formats.
I am now investigating making them available as mobile apps. I have taken one book as an example and have uploaded it into lovable to create the basic shape.
I now want to test in on my mobile but don’t know how to follow these instructions on GitHub.
Get in touch if you can help me do this.
Your app is already configured for mobile with Capacitor. To test it on your mobile device:
1. Export to GitHub: Click the "Export to Github" button in Lovable, then git pull the project locally
2. Install dependencies: Run npm install
3. Add platforms: Run npx cap add ios (for iPhone) or npx cap add android (for Android)
4. Build the project: Run npm run build
5. Sync to native: Run npx cap sync
6. Run on device: Run npx cap run ios (requires Mac with Xcode) or npx cap run android (requires Android Studio)
For detailed setup instructions and troubleshooting, check out our blog post: https://lovable.dev/blogs/TODO
Your app will run natively on mobile with all the navigation and features working perfectly!
