Issue with nav stack WKWebView iOS

We have an issue with an app we are building.

The app is in WKWebView, importing an external url - current setup is splash screen --> tabor controller --> Navigation controller --> WKWebView

The first view has 2 items in the nav bar - list button and search button.

When navigating to subsequent views the list button is hidden replaced by a back button. This is correct and works fine assuming the user navigates back in the same order.

The issue happens when the user presses 'Home' which is loaded in the website. It takes the user back to the first page but the view remains with the back button and not the list button in the nav bar - correctly the web view has not returned to the first view.

What is required is for whenever and however the user goes to 'home' they have the list button in the nav bar and then whenever they navigate elsewhere they have the back button in the nav bar.
