IOS iPhone/Pad need to code extra functionality

The original codebase has been built quite complex by the previous developer. It is an iOS codebase. I would like to add a function so I easy can add chapter view frames. I have the description to add buttons on the code. This description will be pasted down below.

As the application works now, the user clicks one of the buttons on the left side tablet view (ipad) or the slide navigation bar (iPhone). And this button leads to a screen with several other buttons. These buttons then leads to a youtube video.

I want it like this; the user clicks one of the buttons on the left side tablet view (ipad) or the slide navigation bar (iPhone). And this button leads to a screen with several other buttons. When the user clicks on one of the buttons there, each and every button will introduce the user to another page with several other buttons. Then these buttons on the last screen will lead to a youtube video.

(This modification should be coded in both devices. iPad – iPhone)

On all screen/frames with these several buttons, it should be easy to add and delete buttons in the xcode project. On iPad, it should also have the back and forth animation as it is now. A JPG illustrating picture of the modification is also attached.

Adding new item to Mathema App:

1. To add a new item, first add the image that will be used for that item in "Images.xcassets/groups" folder. NOTE: Image needs to be in .png format

2. Navigate to "Supporting Files” folder and select data.plist

3. Add new Dictionary in “Root” array

4. Open newly added item and add 2 Strings and name them “groupName" and “groupImageName”). groupName is displayed on the left menu when app is running. groupImageName should be the same as the image you added in step 1.

5. Add 1 Array and name it groupTopics, open the Array and add as much Dictionary objects as you have links

6. Open one of newly added Dictionaries in groupTopics Array

7. Add 3 Strings and name them “topicName”, “topicPath” and “topicDescription”.
