Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I need an example of how to integrate OneSignal in the current version 5.0.3 into a Cordova project.
Task:
In the sample file (index.html) of the project, a checkbox (#checkOneSignal) is already integrated. The OneSignal plugin is registered and initialized. Any irrelevant code has been removed. The checkbox is initially deactivated.
Functionalities:
When the user activates the checkbox, the following steps should be performed:
a. If necessary, the native permission dialog should be displayed.
b. If the user agrees to the permission request, the "Subscription Status" in OneSignal should be set in a way that enables receiving push notifications.
When the user deactivates the checkbox, the "Subscription Status" in OneSignal should be changed so that no more push notifications are received.
Notes:
There is no need to use OneSignal's in-app messaging feature.
The implementation must work reliably, even if the user changes app permissions through the device settings.
