General information for the app: The app records video from the camera and uploads the videos to my server
Kind of development: New app from scratch
Description of requirements/features: The attached document contains more details.
I require a cross platform Mobile App with source code which I can compile and publish - perhaps developed with a Cross Platform Media Library as required.
I am open to which standard development environment and tools may be used. The App is to be deployed on iPod, iPhone, iPad, Android Tablet, Android phones such as Galaxy S4 etc. Windows Phone would be nice as well but is a lower priority at this time.
The App needs to be able to record video & sound and upload the videos to an Amazon S3 location.
Video record/playback needs functions: Record, Stop, Playback, Pause, Seek to playback position during playback.
Video length needs to be limited based on a setting - this may be 15 seconds, 1 minute or 15 minutes - perhaps a timer is used to stop the recording if recording length can't be controlled directly.
Video quality does not need to be high. Playback size will only be around the size of a pack of playing cards - similar to a standard YouTube video.
Video files after recording will need to be uploaded to an Amazon S3 Location that I can specify. MP4 format is the preferred format. I have experience of the Chilkat Library for communicating with Amazon S3 if that is a help.
I wish to work with someone who can make a working video recording App to some basic specifications and who will hand over the App and source code to myself so I can tweak things as required, but for larger App changes, I would likely want to work with you again in the future.
The App will just likely work in landscape mode on all devices.
Fully compilable source code will be required so that the App can be tweaked by me and bug fixed, and colours/fonts/graphics/logos changed as required.
