Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the app: The app is a test preparation app for licensing and certification exams
Kind of development: Customization of existing app
Description of requirements/features: You are working on a mostly completed test prep application (the project is posted below). We are looking for specific functionality. With the code posted and the detailed request, we are requesting a fix price proposal.
1. We want the user set the date for their exam in Settings (TTSettingsViewController) and the amount of days remaining to be displayed on the initial screen (TTMainViewController). Of course, each day the number will be counted down, once the set test day has been reached, the label should read zero days.
2. We want the user to set the amount of questions for the exams, ranging from 10 – 60, preferably on a slider within settings. Furthermore, once the question has been asked, it should not appear again until all the questions have been gone through. There are currently 60 questions within three categories. The breakdown of categories is in App Data and set in Subjects.Plist. As it stands, the number of questions is hard coded in the Configuration.Plist which will need to be changed. Nothing from the test functionality should be altered, only how the questions are set and pulled. Adding a method to the TTTestViewController should accomplish this but you are the experts. (a lot of the core functionality are controlled from TTUtilities, in case you have a challenge) We will also be adding more categories and using the code for different exams so the code should not limit the amount of categories, which I don’t think will be a problem as it is already set up that way. **The Scientific Concepts portion of the app is completely built, so test using that category under practice exams**
I am in New York and can be reached on Skype anytime between 9am – 9pm if further clarification is needed. Please take a look at the project and submit a proposal for these two functionality updates. Send a proposal and I will send the full project. Thank you.
