I need a application developed to allow crowd sourcing of discounted and special prices of products in supermarkets by users with Android devices.
The application will fetch supermarkets and locations from an OpenCart MySQL database table to populate a drop-down menu to allow the user to set the store and location they are at. Once the store is selected the user repeats the following steps for each product they wish to log the price for:
1. Take a photo of the product with the camera
2. Scan the product barcode
3. Enter the product price
Once all steps are completed, the data collected is added to an XML file stored locally on their device. Once the use is finished scanning, the XML file is sent to a serer via FTP.
A sample XML file is attached.

Hello Norman,
I got few questions before sending you a proposal:
1) What should happen with images?
2) From where should the XML information come? The attached file contains: product name, stock availability, url to image, but the barcode just contain the product code number
3) Can the XML be sent to some web API (I can create that)? Hardcoding FTP credentials in the app isn't save.
