Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for an experienced React Native / Expo developer to build a modern, high-performance Android application for Townly - discovering local businesses and offers.

Our existing platform is built on WordPress and is fully mobile responsive. We want to convert it into a polished, native-feeling mobile application using React Native and WebView technology.

The goal is to create an app that feels fast, seamless and native, rather than a basic website wrapper.

Key Requirements

1. App Development

Build the application from scratch using React Native / Expo.

Integrate our existing WordPress website using WebViews.

Develop a scalable architecture that can support iOS in the future.

2. Navigation & Performance

Implement modern native bottom and top navigation.

Enable instant or near-instant switching between main sections.

Implement intelligent page preloading and caching.

Preserve page states, filters and scroll positions.

Eliminate unnecessary page reloads, flickering and white screens.

3. UI/UX

recreate our modern UI as a native navigation with animations.

Ensure consistency across Android devices and screen sizes.

4. Website Integration

Ensure full compatibility with existing WordPress functionality.

Support user authentication, Google login and membership functionality.

Ensure forms, dynamic content, AJAX filters and account pages work correctly.

Maintain user sessions across the application.

5. Native Features

Android back-button support.

Deep linking and external link handling.

Native sharing functionality.

Appropriate loading and offline/error handling.

6. Testing & Deployment

Optimise performance, stability and memory usage.

Thoroughly test all navigation and core functionality.

Configure the application for production.

Provide a Google Play Store-ready Android App Bundle (AAB).

Deliver complete source code and documentation.
