General information for the business: Bluetooth Proximity Advertising
Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of requirements/functionality: The Android app will allow the user to turn their Android mobile phone into a Bluetooth Proximity Advertising System which will automatically send Bluetooth messages directly to all Bluetooth enabled mobile phones in the area.
The Android app will be able to automatically send any type of file that is compatible with cell phones including Digital Business Cards, Calendar Reminders, Mobile Movies, Pictures, Animated Images, Mobile Music, Java Games and Bar Codes.
The Android app will provide users with the means to contact any possible customer who is approaching their Bluetooth advertising range.
We all hate spam messages and we all want to fight them but my proposal is NOT a spamming software. It will be designed to ask for the customer‘s permission before delivering any content. This means that the customer will agree to receive this promotion, otherwise it will not be delivered. This is a standard Bluetooth feature.
