Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a small project to amend and update an existing project, which is a fully functioning app that is already in the marketplace and running fine.
The app is a "white label" app that serves many organisations who all have their own bespoke app that is tailored from the base code to look like it is branded to their organisation.
The app is written in Objective C in XCode, which we are aware is old and know it needs updating, so we are not after any critics of this.
We need existing parts of the app to be updated to run with new APIs on the CMS and also some new screens/sections to be added which need to function with new APIs that have already been developed. The APIs have already been tested and work 100% fine with our Android version of the app, so are ready to go.
Ideally, we would like any new sections or screens to be created in Swift language and to work seamlessly with the existing code. If possible, we would like the sections with amendments to be converted to Swift too. We can discuss this. You will need to be able to produce accurate layouts that are based on our designs (we use Adobe XD).
There may be a few very small "tweaks" we may need to to the code as the project is being worked on, this is something we will discuss as we work alongside each other.
I am looking for an expert in Objective C, XCode, Swift and UI layout and design who will be able to jump in and do the work with minimum supervision. I am looking for a long term relationship where I can supply small projects on a fairly regular basis to a reliable and trustworthy freelancer.
I would also like the freelancer to be able to recommend changes and updates to our code which would benefit the overall app. We welcome your input.
Sadly, experience has taught me caution, so payment will only be made for the completed project once the code is finished and on my BitBucket, in a place where I can independently test it.
Trust is very important to me, so if you are able and want these kind of projects (they come along every couple of months) - get in touch but if you are an agency, inexperienced or you sub-contract these projects out to your friends thinking you are a project manager, then please do not apply.
Reliability, accountability, dedication, trustworthiness and integrity are very important qualities as this is a managed project.
Once the project begins, if it becomes apparent that you are not what you seem, please do not be offended if I cancel the project and move on to someone else.
Please note that sub contracting, outsourcing to other parties or pretending to be the freelancer will result in the project being cancelled.
Time to complete this project has been estimated at 18 hours.
Thanks for looking!
Project document is attached.
