Description
Experience Level: Entry
I require a stripped down web VR browser to be built for Pico 4 VR headset – probably in Unity.
I assume you will use the existing unity based browser and most likely will need the PICO Unity Integration SDK ( https://developer-global.pico-interactive.com/sdk?deviceId=1&platformId=1&itemId=12 )
The key requirement is that the VR immersion on webXR and webVR pages is fully functional! If you cannot make the immersion fully functional then this project is fail!
If you need help with testing on pico 4 we can help with the testing.
This is to be a stand-alone app run natively on Pico 4.
Deliverables are:
A. the Unity project with documentation,
B. a functional APK,
C. and a functional browser as describe below without any watermarks, ads, unity links and the like.
This is a web browser so it needs to function like one but with modifications. The key requirements are:
1. The browser VR immersion is fully functional and entry into VR on a page results in immersion
2. the web address / URL bar removed from the front-end of the app for the user – no ability to see the web URL
3. Browser automatically opens on a pre-defined web address (we will provide the URL)
4. controllers work as usual in the VR immersion environment
5. Left controller 3 lines button takes one out of immersion
6. Ability to have up to 3 windows open at the same time (this includes a list of windows, and a “+” to create a new window that disappears when the third window is created)
7. bookmarks and ability to use and create bookmarks to be removed
8. automatic browser history and cookies removal upon app closure
9. the browser app to be renamed, the name will be provided by us
10. changing app logo to a new one provided by us
11. screens to be curved
12. ability to resize windows
13. buttons to go back, forth, reloaded page and home visible when in browser mode (of course the buttons are not visible in VR immersion)
15. Button to resize windows (the 3 dots)
14. The browser needs its own static 3d surrounding - We will provide it as an image
check the video of what this should look like. As you can see each screen has buttons under the selected screen (when selected)) and a second menu panel below where the user can select to add a window or get a list of open browser windows. https://www.pmcmoln.com/index.php/s/NP85jK8JsqSMf7r
In the video the environment is sandboxed (the surroundings), ideally we will test with this and without.
On the example the VR immersion is not working but (the VR button does not light up blue) but on your solution it must do so.
