Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need a very simple game concept as illustrated in the attached image. The specifications are as follows:
Platform: iPad app
Game engine: No preference
1. Game elements include:
1.1 The player, controlling a railgun, with 100 HP
1.2 Enemies represented as purple shapes
1.2.1 Big enemy has 50 HP
1.2.2 Small enemy has 10 HP
1.3 Explosions
1.4 Shots fired from the Player railgun.
2. Enemies are generated from the top of the screen at a variable Spawn Rate (0 to 100) which can be adjusted via a slider
2.1 Enemies then move towards the player
2.1.1 Small enemy takes 3 second to reach the player
2.1.2 Big enemy takes 6 seconds to reach the player
2.1 Enemies are continuously generated for a Time Limit of 30 seconds
2.2 If small enemy touches the player, 5 HP is deducted
2.3 If big enemy touches the player, 20 HP is deducted
3. Shots are automatically aimed at the nearest enemy and fired at a variable Fire Rate (0 to 100) * (base rate of fire) which can be adjusted via a slider
3.1 2 rounds per shot
3.2 Each shot does 1 HP damage to enemy.
3.3 Small enemy has 10 HP, it takes 10 bullet collisions to kill it
3.4 Big enemy has 50 HP, it takes 50 bullet collisions to kill it
3.3 When an enemy HP is 0, it explodes and the railgun then attacks the next nearest enemy
The base rate of fire should be such that if the Fire Rate is more than or equal to Enemy Rate, then the Player manages to kill all enemies within the Time Limit. If Fire Rate is lower than enemy Spawn Rate, then enough enemies will eventually touch the Player to damage the Player. If Spawn Rate is much higher than the Fire Rate, then the Player gets damaged quicker and eventually dies.
The game simply resets after the Time Limit.
