Scrum Master (Freelance, Jira Expert) – UK & Asia

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Jira expertise to lead the full implementation of Jira across all departments in our organisation. Our teams span Sales, Operations, Marketing, Tech, HR, and Admin, and we aim to unify all workflows into a single, well-structured Jira environment.

This is a freelance / contract role with an immediate start.

We are scaling rapidly and require a comprehensive Jira rollout to improve visibility, accountability, and operational efficiency across UK and India teams.

Responsibilities
1. Lead Jira implementation across all departments

Build Jira project structures for Sales, Operations, Tech, Marketing, HR, and Admin

Configure workflows, boards, automation, approvals, permissions, and KPIs

Integrate email, Slack/WhatsApp bridges, Confluence, and other tools

2. Map and digitise existing workflows

Convert real operational processes into streamlined Jira workflows

Identify bottlenecks and create automation rules to improve efficiency

Establish naming conventions, permissions, and SOPs

3. Train UK & India teams

Deliver remote training sessions

Create simple SOPs, documentation, and video guides

Ensure consistent and disciplined usage of Jira across all staff

4. Improve visibility for management

Build performance dashboards for team leaders

Create an Executive Dashboard for senior management

Set KPIs, SLA tracking systems, and performance metrics

Requirements

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach

Expert-level Jira knowledge (workflows, automation, dashboards, integrations)

Experience implementing Jira in multi-department or multi-location organisations

Strong documentation and training skills

Excellent communication and coordination abilities (UK & India teams)

Ability to work independently and take full ownership of delivery

Project Timeline

8–12 weeks total
(Discovery → Build → Training → Full Rollout)
