We are looking for a Microsoft 365 developer to migrate an existing Microsoft Access database into a secure cloud based system.
The database is used by a small charity operating a toy and toddler equipment lending service for children aged 0 to 5. It currently manages:
• Members and families
• Toys, books and equipment
• Unique item codes
• Loans and returns
• Small loan charges
• Equipment issued through an outreach service
The organisation already uses Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
Our preferred solution is:
• SharePoint and Microsoft Lists for data storage
• Power Apps for a simple staff interface
• Power Automate for reminders and basic workflows
The system will be used by two part time staff, an outreach worker and Trustees with appropriate read only access.
The project should include:
• Reviewing the current Access database
• Recommending the best Microsoft setup
• Migrating and cleaning the data
• Building a simple Power App
• Setting up permissions
• Testing and handover

A few questions
1. Approximately how many records are currently stored in the database?
2. Are there any existing Access reports or forms that should be replicated?
3. Which Microsoft 365 licences do you currently have?
4. Do you require barcode or QR code support for tracking toys and equipment?
5. Would Trustees require dashboards or simply read-only access to the system?
