Create functioning database

I am in the very early stages of starting an online mutual exchange business for people to swap their houses with one another.

I have all of the relevant customer information on excel but I need a way to filter out the database to help aid matches.

My matches depends on a variety of factors, be it room size, property type, location to name a few.

It is more than likely I will need to create a chain of swappers to succeed. Therefore I need the programme to be able to extract a variety of information and link multiple customer.
