JSK Website B2C Specification Tender

The goal
Setup a transactional B2C ecommerce website to accept orders globally.
Company background
Importer of commercial, agricultural and automotive aftermarket and original parts. Target markets is directly to end users and garages alike. The vast majority of sales currently takes place via eBay to both UK and international markets. Approximately 2500 SKU’s.
Hosting
The site will be hosted by a UK server paid for by JSK directly.
Platform
Looking for a Magento 2.0 based system, or WordPress.
Timescale
We require this site to be live within 4-5 weeks of agreeing a proposal.

• Accept orders and a simple one page checkout via paypal
• 2 way integration with ebay (via a plugin) to upload stock levels to ebay and import orders to take away stock.
• Inventory management system.
• Ability to manually enter orders via the “back office” of the website for items

• Google translate plugin to be embedded on all webpages

2. What do you want to happen to the old site?
It will be overwritten with this new site
3. How many orders will the website process per day?
estimate 30 a day
4. How will the orders be processed?
Via the website with email confirmations
5. How are orders currently handled, is it paper based or electronic? Electronic then finally printed in paper in the warehouse
Do you use anything like bar codes for identification? No only product codes
6. Will all the orders go via the website or ebay?
It will be a mix of orders being received via telephone and manually entered into
7. How regularly does the data need to be updated, daily, hourly or real time?
Daily
8. Do you offer discounted prices for different customer groups? And how often do these change?
Some prices can change every week, month infrequently. The prices will be the same on the eBay store as it is online
9. How often do stock items change and new products added?
New products will be added on a daily / weekly basis.
10. Do you allow backorder of items for customers?
No if an item is out of stock, we do not wish to take the order.
11. What is your timescale for implementation?
ASAP
12. Do you have an idea of budget?
No fixed budget yet, open to proposals.
13. Do you have someone who can act as a Product Owner, ie who will have full decision making authority for the project and who will be accessible for the project team to contact?
