Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Ticket Sales
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: n/a
Description of requirements/features: We have a website built in Wordpress and need some customisations made.
The customisations should be made so that if Wordpress, Woocommerce or the plugins are updated it will not overwrite the customisations
The tasks are:
1.
We use a plugin called: WooCommerce_Advanced_Notifications to send out an email when a new order is placed.
However, we want to customise the email and add two fields to the outbound email.
There are two custom fields (Names of ticket holders and Date of visiting attraction) that are set in another plugin: WooCommerce Checkout Field Editor
this data can be found in wp_postmeta.
2.
Add a message in the standard woocommerce email to the customer to say that this email will not be accepted at the attraction for entry as this is your order confirmation.
Your order will be sent separately to the email address provided. (If you can make this in red text that would be good)
CMS and Admin requirements: Will be supplied in due course
Extra notes:
