Description
The website itself is already built but need to enable stores. This project is specifically for the technical setup of supplier product feeds/API into Wix Stores.
Current Supplier Setup
TIMCO:
Product API available
Product data export available
FTP/email stock feed available
Product information includes descriptions, pricing, stock, images and specifications
Makita:
CSV product file available
What We Need
Looking for advice and implementation of the best way to:
Bring supplier products into Wix Stores
Keep pricing and stock updated
Sync products using SKU/product codes
Import selected products/categories only (not full catalogue initially)
Avoid duplicate products
Keep the system manageable and easy to maintain
Important Context
This is for a local independent tool business, not a large ecommerce operation.
Some products may be fulfilled directly by the supplier to the customer, while others may be fulfilled by the business itself, so we would appreciate recommendations on the most suitable setup and whether this creates any limitations within Wix.
We are looking for a practical, scalable solution, rather than overcomplicating the setup.
Please Include
Ballpark cost estimate
Recommended approach

1. Approximately how many products/categories are you planning to import in the first phase?
2. Does TIMCO provide stable SKU/product codes across all feeds for matching and updates?
3. Are you planning to keep some products manually managed inside Wix alongside supplier-fed products?
4. How frequently do stock and pricing updates need to sync?
5. Will supplier-fulfilled and self-fulfilled products need different checkout/shipping handling?
6. Do you already have the Wix Stores structure/categories prepared, or should that also be organised during setup?
7. Are there specific TIMCO or Makita categories you want prioritised first for testing before scaling further?
8. Do you want automatic product creation from supplier feeds, or only updates to approved/imported products?
9. Will you need supplier branding/specification PDFs and technical documents imported alongside products?
10. Is long-term maintenance/support something you may want after the initial integration is complete?
