Description
Experience Level: Entry
I run an Australian Shopify store (petiteskinco.com) built on the Blockshop/Hyperspeed theme. I need a developer to complete three things:
1. ACCESSIBILITY
Make the website fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Please audit the site, identify all issues, and fix them directly in the theme code.
Important: Do NOT use accessibility overlay widgets. All fixes must be made in the actual theme code.
2. SPEED OPTIMISATION
Review and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and page speed across all pages.
Speed targets:
- Google PageSpeed mobile score of 90+
- Google PageSpeed desktop score of 90+
- All Core Web Vitals passing (green) in Google Search Console
LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): under 2.5 seconds
CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): under 0.1
INP (Interaction to Next Paint): under 200ms
NOTES:
- Theme is Blockshop by Troop Theme
- Store is on Shopify (not Shopify Plus)
- Full theme code access will be provided
- Please deliver all changes on a duplicate theme so I can review before publishing
- Please quote for accessibility and speed separately

Please send through fixed price quote and availability.

-

- Have you already identified any specific accessibility issues (e.g., contrast errors, missing labels, keyboard navigation problems), or should I perform a full WCAG audit from scratch and report all findings before implementation?
- Are there any Shopify apps currently installed that are critical to your store functionality, as these can significantly impact both accessibility compliance and Core Web Vitals performance?
- For speed optimization, are you open to restructuring theme code (Liquid, JS, CSS) and removing or replacing heavy scripts if they are affecting performance, or should optimizations be strictly non-invasive?
