Prestashop Login Bug Fix (need done asap)

I am having an issue with logging into my prestashop website back end.
When I hit send to reset the login password I receive an technical error message that reads:
Details: Error thrown: {object Object}
Text status: parsererror
I still receive the password reset email, but when I try to use the temporary password to login, I get another error message that says:
1. Employee does not exist, or the password provided is incorrect.
My site is hosted on Siteground.com , I asked one of the live chat techs what the issue was any they said that it appeared to be something that needed to be reset through the FTP, but I don't have experience working in the FTP panel. I need this fixed as soon as possible.
