Os commerce site enhancements

General information for the website: We sell indian style lunchboxes and other cooking utensils
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: I am looking for someone to update our website. In particular we want to do the following:

1. Fix an issue with coupon codes. For some reason the coupon code module does not work for customer. In the backend I can create coupon codes, however when a customer tries to use it, it creates an error and the order does not go through.

2. Give the homepage a new look and feel. I want to redesign the homepage so that it sports a new design, which is more rich with pictures and reflects current best practice. Additionally, I want to make it fully optimised for tablets and mobile phones. Suggestions on the design would also be expected.

3. Upgrade the version of os commerce to the latest version.

4. Seek advice on my site to make sure that I have optimised the site in the best way to be able to favourably feature on search engines.

5. Remove an alpha site that sits on the server. (\alpha)

6. Add a new section to the site, including the backend aspects to allow me to post details about charity work we plan to do on. Potentially this page should be able to take donations, and have links to other sites such as just giving etc.

7. Add Pinterest links to the site as well as give a refresh in terms of other aspects that feature now on sites.

8. We also want to insert the new cookie policy requirement.

Am also open to other suggestions to improve the site.
