Opencart recurring payments - sagepay issue

In need of a Opencart expert desperately,

The site has been working fine and integrated well with Sagepay. The client now wanted to start "recurring payments" for a subscription of the product.

When I tried to checkout on a recurring payment subscription when pressing on the checkout button nothing would happen. I came across this fix - https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=28280&filter_category_id=3&filter_license=0&filter_download_id=44&page=8

But after installing, it didn't work and has now effected the whole of the website not enabling people to buy!

Hope someone can help fix the payment gateway and enable recurring payments.
