Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We have a built a master Magento web site with 4 different login pages and we need to restrict the quantity of items that people can order from each of these logins
E.g Login A can order any quantity of product 1, login B can order just 1 of product 1 and login C can orders a maximum of 10 of product 1
Is this something that you can write for us and if so what would the cost be
Update 21 March 2016 - Detailed job specification
In response to the requests for a detailed specification please read the following.
We have set-up one web site with 4 separate store views. Each view has its own host name. E.g. store1.example.com, store2.example.com, store3.example.com and store4.example.com. Stores 1, 2 and 3 will force the users to login, this is handled via existing Magento Extensions. Store 4 will allow orders from anyone, i.e. the general public.
The stores all share the same pool of products and are filtered on each store by the catalog. Each store is required to have a maximum order limit for the products in the store's catalog.
Magento allows for per product "Maximum Qty Allowed in Shopping Cart" to be set at a Global level on the inventory page. We need to be able to set this value at the Store View level.
Therefore the maximum order quantity is linked to the store view, not to the customer.
See the attached Excel file for some examples of products and their limits per store. Not available means that the product isn't included in the catalog for that specific store.
I hope this clarifies the request for everyone, please contact me again should you require any more information.
