Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Objective:
The primary goal of this project is to clean up all internal and Google SEO issues on the website to ensure proper indexing and search engine performance. The work includes fixing technical issues, clearing errors, and improving the structure (all this is done actually) of the site, but it should not take more than 2 days for someone with the right experience. We’ve been through a detailed SEO recovery process before, reducing 4,500 issues down to the current state, so the remaining work is straightforward but essential.
Main Tasks:
1. Internal SEO Cleanup (4-7 hours):
- Fix invalid HTML elements in the .
- Resolve canonical issues, pagination, and meta tag discrepancies.
- Correct internal response codes (4xx errors) and missing header tags (H1, etc.).
- Update and clean up page titles and duplicate issues.
2. Google SEO Issue Fixes (1 day approx.):
- Resolve blocked URLs, canonical tag errors, and noindex tags.
- Fix redirects, 403/404 errors, and server-side (5xx) errors.
- Address any remaining duplicate canonical issues that Google identified.
PS: I have now gained access to the Google Cloud Indexing API and can remove 200 URLS per day due to their idiotic API limits. So the URLS removed can be resolved. A second issue is that I forgot to set Disallow on subdomains. That is now done so the number of issues you see is going to be drastically removed in one or two days and not as many as you se below. I have also updated the robot.txt file and removed a substantial number of issues in the Google Search errors.
3. Post-Cleanup Monitoring (Ongoing):
- While the bulk of the work is straightforward and should be completed within 2 days, ongoing monitoring and adjustments will be necessary to help the site rank properly over time.
- Track the site in Google Search Console and SEO tools to ensure all issues have been resolved and the site is indexing correctly. DA must grow fast. We have a backlink builder doing his job too.
Key Clarifications:
- This is a short-term project. Anyone suggesting this will take weeks is overestimating the work. Cleaning up the current list of internal and Google SEO issues should take no more than 2 days for a skilled Magento 2.4 SEO expert.
- While long-term ranking improvements will take time, the initial cleanup of these technical issues is simple and should be completed efficiently.
You cannot take one meta title and one meta description and apply them across all products. Every meta tag, title, and keyword is carefully crafted, balanced, and strategically written. We’ve followed all best practices to make the site SEO-friendly.
Do not come in and carelessly copy-paste solutions. This site has been four years in development, and now is not the time to mess it up.
I will closely monitor the work, and after 46 years in software, I can spot a maverick easily. You must know what you're doing.

This project is urgent and straightforward for anyone with the right experience. The site has already made significant progress, and we now need to finish cleaning up the remaining issues to ensure the site is properly indexed and ranks well.
