I have a problem with relevance of search results being extremely poor. I don't believe the backend search settings are the issue, I think it may be the search template.

I have a dev version of the site set up using Amasty Search Pro extension, which shows results as you type, and those results are perfect, it's only when hitting enter and going to the full search results page that results become poor.
