Dead Cylinder Co. Shop Build

Project overview

Dead Cylinder Co. is a British print-on-demand apparel and art brand celebrating the golden age of British motorcycling. The brand is live and trading on Etsy (etsy.com/shop/DeadCylinderCo — 18 active listings) and fully set up with Printful for fulfilment.

We need an experienced Shopify developer/designer to design, build and populate a complete branded Shopify storefront, connecting it to our existing Printful account so all products sync correctly and orders fulfil automatically.

Everything you need is prepared and ready to hand over on appointment — brand guide, logo files, copy for every page, product descriptions and all design assets.

What we need

The project covers three distinct areas:

1 — Store design and build

A clean, premium Shopify store using the Dawn theme as the base, customised to the Dead Cylinder Co. brand identity. This is not a generic template job — the store needs to feel like a proper brand, not a default Shopify installation.

About page — full brand story, collections explainer, design philosophy, CTA
Shop / Collections — two collections (The Archive and The Brand), all products populated
Contact page — simple contact form
Policies — returns, shipping, privacy (standard POD policies)

2 — Printful connection and product sync

Connect our existing Printful account to the Shopify store. All 18 existing garment products need to sync correctly with accurate titles, descriptions, variants and pricing. Assign each product to the correct collection (The Archive or The Brand).

3 — Domain connection

Connect the domain deadcylinder.co to the Shopify store. Domain is registered through Shopify — this should be straightforward but needs confirming as live and working correctly on handover.

Shopify login access on appointment

What we are looking for

Proven Shopify experience — please share relevant portfolio examples
Experience connecting Printful (or similar POD fulfilment) to Shopify
An eye for brand-led design — this is not a commodity store build
Someone who can work from a detailed brief with minimal hand-holding
Clear communication and a defined timeline to completion

This is a straightforward build for a well-prepared project — all the thinking, copy and assets are done. We are looking for execution quality and brand sensitivity, not creative direction.

Budget

Open to proposals — please provide a fixed price quote and estimated timeline in your application. Typical builds of this scope are quoted at £150–250 and we expect to complete within 2 weeks of appointment.
